The FortisBC HVAC and Building Controls Rebate supports installation of HVAC system controls. HVAC controls help your building run more efficiently and reduce maintenance costs.

Eligibility requirements
- You must be a FortisBC natural gas customer under any rate class except Rate 1 and/or a commercial or industrial FortisBC electricity customer or municipal electricity customer of Grand Forks, Penticton, Summerland or Nelson Hydro.
- You must be a long-term leaseholder of an existing commercial or industrial building, or a builder/developer or owner of a new commercial or industrial construction project.
- You must submit an application and supporting documentation no later than 365 days after the purchase date of the product(s) (as shown on the paid invoice) or installation date, whichever is first.

How to apply
- Review the HVAC and Building Controls Rebate information on the FortisBC website.
- Purchase and install qualifying equipment/products.
- Complete in full the HVAC controls rebate application [157KB PDF] and include the following information:
- copies of the paid invoice indicating the purchase date, make and model number of the product/equipment purchased
- your email
- scanned or PDF copies of all paid receipts
- Email your completed application along with supporting documents to commercialrebates@fortisbc.com within 365 days of the purchase date (as shown on the paid invoice) or installation date (as shown on the application form), whichever is first.
